Ovulation Phase

Ovulation spans just over a few 3-4 days in which estrogen and testosterone are at their peak, followed by a rise in luteinizing hormone (LH), During this phase your energy levels should be high. There should be a rise in temperature with ovulation as it is also referred to as the “summer” phase. Fill up on raw fruits and veggies for their cooling effect and fiber benefits. If you are experiencing acne, it may be due to excess levels of estrogen and this is where fiber rich foods will benefit you. This is a time where you’ll feel better with lighter meals and you won’t need as many calories to feel satisfied. Cruciferous vegetables such as brussels sprouts, broccoli and kale help with liver detoxification.
